SEA NOMADS
| Many sea nomads known as Bajau
people, live in PESISIR's project area. These Bajau built their houses
on stilts in the sea. In the past they were sailing around in their
leppa's (boats) and did not have houses. The Bajau culture is slowly
disappearing.

If
the North star stands above the South star the
sea will be calm. If three stars are seen close
together in the western part of the sky, the
wind will come from the east. If the morning
star arises it is 4.00 a.m. |
