LPM PESISIR is an education focused organization working in South East
Sulawesi, Indonesia. The main objective is to help under-privileged
children to go to school. PIARA-Holland supports PESISIR by raising
funds in the Netherlands. And in Germany volunteers also raise money for
Pesisir.
Education increases the chance for a better
future for the children and thus for an improvement in the living
conditions for the local people. Pesisir works mainly with volunteers
from the region which ensures that the projects are developed and
carried out in an appropriate and culturally sensitive manner.
